Learn valuable strategies to define and communicate your unique professional identity and discover how to leverage your strengths to stand out in your industry.

    About Our Event Speakers:

    Brandi Boatner

    Manager, Digital & Advocacy Communications, IBM


    Brandi Boatner is an award-winning digital communication, public relations, social media professional and prolific public speaker based in New York City. She is a member of IBM’s corporate affairs function supporting global influencer and advocacy efforts across social platforms (includes enablement and activation) both internally and externally driving market education around IBM’s brand and reputation. Boatner serves as the Chief Programming Officer for New York Women in Communications and the Chair of the Public Relations Society of America Tri-State District.

    Additionally, she is on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of New York City and Hudson Valley; is a member of the Advisory Board of Poster House, the first ever museum in the US dedicated exclusively to posters based in New York City and serves as a member of the University of South Carolina’ Dean’s Leadership Council.


    Michael Melcher

    CEO of M2Leaders, Author, and Podcast Host of Career Stewardship With Michael Melcher

    Michael Melcher is an internationally known executive coach and leadership expert. Over the past 20 years, he has helped senior executives, entrepreneurs, attorneys, investment bankers, White House appointees, tech wizards, healthcare leaders, community activists, board chairs, parents returning to the workforce, and young people just starting out. He has delivered hundreds of keynotes and workshops, including at Camp David, Google, and leading universities around the United States, and in a dozen countries on five continents.

    Melcher attended public schools before earning a BA from Harvard and a JD/MBA from Stanford. He was raised by a Mexican American single mother who was the first Hispanic woman in America to earn a doctorate in accounting. He is a gay dad and lives in Manhattan with his twin sons, Nicolás and Mateo.

    During the 2 hour #IamRemarkable workshop we will:

    • Share data and research regarding self promotion and unconscious bias
    • Go through the main exercise to help you articulate your achievements and practice self promotion
