NYWICI Presents: Roundtable Discussion
with Global Women in PR –
Harassment in the Communications Industry

Results from Global Women in PR’s Annual Index revealed that more than half—53%--oof women of all levels reported facing harassment in their workplace, the most common forms being psychological, power and personal harassment. Approximately one third of those who reported the harassment either left or were encouraged to leave their organizations, while no action was taken in the case of another third.

With many companies continuing to grapple with the optimal mix of remote vs. in-person working, the index also explored the prevalence and perceived benefits of flexible work as well as the impact of flexible work on career progression.

Conducted in partnership with the strategic insight agency Opinium, this research covers women working in PR across 35 countries divided equally between agency and in-house plus 10% independent practitioners.

Our panelists will discuss the findings of this year’s index and explore solutions to drive positive change in the industry.
