About Brandi Boatner
Brandi Boatner is an award-winning digital communication, public relations, social media professional and prolific public speaker based in New York City. She is a member of IBM’s corporate affairs function supporting global influencer and advocacy efforts across social platforms (includes enablement and activation) both internally and externally driving market education around IBM’s brand and reputation. Boatner serves as the Chief Programming Officer for New York Women in Communications and the Chair of the Public Relations Society of America Tri-State District.
Additionally, she is on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of New York City and Hudson Valley; is a member of the Advisory Board of Poster House, the first ever museum in the US dedicated exclusively to posters based in New York City and serves as a member of the University of South Carolina’ Dean’s Leadership Council.
About Kristin Myers
Kristin Myers is an award-winning journalist, producer, and the former Editor-in-Chief of The Balance. Before joining The Balance, Kristin was a senior reporter at Yahoo Finance and on-air anchor of Yahoo Finance Live. She hosted Yahoo Finance Live daily and was one of the creators and hosts of “A Time for Change,” a weekly program that explores race, diversity, and inclusion in the world of business, finance, and politics.
Earlier in her career, Kristin helped launch Al Jazeera America, where she produced high-profile guest segments and was part of field teams for special coverage, including the riots in Ferguson, and the funeral of Nelson Mandela in South Africa.
She has also worked with other news organizations including Bloomberg News, MSNBC, and others, in the U.S. and abroad. As the former Editor-in-Chief of The Balance, Kristin played a key role in leading and shaping the publication’s high-quality service journalism for The Balance’s millions of readers.
About Tamika Young
Tamika Young has worked with some of the most notable brands in entertainment – MTV Networks, Spotify and Netflix, shaping and driving their communications strategies. In her current role at Netflix, she leads Marketing Communications focusing on highlighting the brand’s innovative and creative campaigns.
Tamika received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from LIM College, a leading university in the fashion industry and was named to PR Week’s 40 Under 40.
